Feet@Work 5K/10K This Saturday!

Get ready to run for the 3rd Annual Feet@Work 5k/10k (Run/Walk). Here are the details:

This year, we're excited to have George Snyman, President of Hands@Work, Africa speak AND run with us.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • 7:15AM-8AM Check-In

  • 8AM Welcome

  • 8:15AM George Speaks

  • 8:45AM The Run/Race

RUN/RACE DETAILS

There will be a 1st place for the 10K race. The winner will receive an REI Gift Card for Men's, Women's, and Kids (11 and under) 1st place finish. In order to participate in the race portion, you will need to have the Strava app and then we will send you an invite for you to join the race.

Please note, you do not have to race to participate. The race portion is only for those interested. You can instead feel free to run/walk at your own pace. And you can decide to do the 5K or the 10K run.

FUNDRAISING GOALS

Our goal this year is a substantial one. We want to raise funds for the following Community Investment Projects:

  • Pimai C Community, Zimbabwe - $24,000

    • building a home

    • kitchen

    • toilet renovations

    • Children's shelter

    • Storeroom

    • Water

DONATIONS AND COSTS

All funds raised will go to Hands at Work in Africa. 

  • The cost of the Race is $40 which you can pay by credit card during this registration. All remaining funds from this race will be donated to the goal.

  • Where we really need your support is by direct donations for this cause. If you wish to donate to help us reach our goal, you can donate by clicking HERE.

  • In the pulldown menu, please select Feet at Work, 5k/10k.

  • In order to receive a T-Shirt, you must register by 10/14.

  • Please note, you do not have to run or even attend the event to contribute to the goal!
