Our Team
Sam Shin, Pastor and Elder
Sam serves as Pastor and Elder. He received his M. Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Shua moved to the Bay Area in 1999, where they planted Wellspring. They have four children.
Fuji Jun Kyung Kim, Pastor and Elder
Fuji serves as Associate Pastor. He received his M. Div. and D. Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He also has an M. A. in Christian Education from Gordon-Conwell Theological Serminary.
Fuji and his wife Lisa joined Wellspring in February, 2022. They have two sons.
Michael Ochoa, Elder
Michael serves on our Elder Team.
He is married to Angie and has four children.
Joe Chi, Pastor
Joe serves as Associate Pastor. He received his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, an M.A. in Christian Thought from Biblical Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Joe and his wife Sunny joined Wellspring in September 2023 and have a daughter and two sons.
Thomas Kim, Elder
Thomas serves on our Elder Team. He is married to Teri and they have two daughters.

Linda Yuen, Children’s Ministry Director
Linda moved to the Bay Area from Toronto in 2004. She received her M.Div. from Tyndale Theological Seminary in Toronto. She is married to Anthony.
Margaret Chiang, Outreach Coordinator
Margaret is our outreach coordinator and is married to Victor and has two children.
Jungjoo Pak, Assistant Children’s Ministry Director
Jungjoo is the assistant children’s ministry director alongside Linda. She is married to Sam and has three children.
Michelle Cho, Administrator
Michelle grew up in the Bay Area and attended UC Berkeley. She is a CPA and currently runs Wellspring's operations. She is married to Kevin and has two children.
