Glorifying God by making disciples of Jesus Christ at Berkeley through the Gospel
Who Are We?
Wellspring@Berkeley is the campus ministry of Wellspring Church located in San Ramon.
For Parents
Welcome! Sending your child to Berkeley is an important decision for their academic and professional journeys. Any college campus can be challenging to their faith but one where the grace of Christ may be found in abundance. Wellspring@Berkeley is one of many ministries that are available to encourage, support and equip them to grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Wellspring@Berkeley serves to walk alongside your child to support and encourage them through the good news of Jesus Christ.
Churches in the Area
It’s always hard, but so critical in finding a local church in your area. If you are attending Cal, these are three churches we recommend:
What We Believe and Teach
The Gospel
The gospel is the good news of the Triune God redeeming a sinful people to himself through the perfect life, substitutionary death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ for his glory leading to our ultimate joy now and forever. We believe making disciples of Jesus Christ is one of the greatest expressions of living the Gospel life. Moreover, discipleship is a life lived in love, humility, joy, obedience, mercy and contentment by the grace of God to the glory of God.
Our Statement of Faith
Wellspring@Berkeley affirms and agrees with much of the Reformation confessions and subscribes to the Gospel Coalition’s confessional statement.
